remote camera control via return SDI
The Micro Studio camera G2 is often used for making overview shots, sometimes mounted on places that are difficult to reach. This pan/tilt solution enables you to remotely
adjust your shot during broadcasting.
This pan/tilt solution consists of an MP101 pan/tilt head mounted on top of an interfacebox which uses the Blackmagic Arduinoshield.
The unit runs on 12V, and powers both the interface and pan/tilt head. The interface extracts Pan Tilt and Tally information that is embedded in the ATEM SDI return signal.
The tally signal is output on a built-in tally LED and a 3.5mm connector for tally output. The tally is dimmable and the camera/tally number is selected with a rotary switch.
The pan/tilt and zoom can be controlled via Blackmagic design ATEM control panels, or PTZ-link controller PTZ-link.
The MP101 head does not support presets.
The interface can be tripod mounted with a 1/4" screw.
This interface uses the Blackmagic 3G-SDI Arduino shield.
Note that this shield accepts 3G SDI maximum. To function with 4K, you need a switcher that can downconvert
the program return signal, such as Constellation mixers (except for Constellation 8K).
